Description

This 2-day CPD annual refresher course provides candidates with up-to-date knowledge about current issues in road safety that may contribute to enhancing your practice. A road safety auditor has an enormous responsibility to make highways safer, and it's important to have regular training. This course is aimed at experienced road safety auditors.

Format

T&RS offers flexible CPD courses to suit employees and employers, including:

• Traditional Classroom Courses (at a T&RS location or in-house at your offices)
• Online CPD Courses (distance learning/ e-learning)
• Hybrid "Modular" CPD Courses (mix of classroom and module/ learning followed by online modules/ independent learning)

Course Overview

• Update on any revision to standards that are applicable to the RSA process
• Seminar on collision investigation
• Seminar on innovations (including technology) in road safety
• Highways design case study evaluation (in small teams) - 3 different schemes
• Highways design problem identification (same team)
• Expert sharing and discussion

Course Leader(s)

All T&RS employees are fully qualified engineers (CEng or IEng) and trainers (Minimum Level 3 in Education and Trainer to qualified University Lecturers/ PG Cert).
