Course Overview

Our 10-day ROSPA training course explores all aspects of road safety through a practice-based phenomenological approach to road safety engineering. Participants will be guided by integrating workshops and case-studies to enhance learning opportunities. Some of the items covered in this course includes:

• Principles of road safety engineering
• Collision Investigation
• Road safety policy in UK and Globally
• Collision mitigation measures and their application (horizontal and vertical engineering)
• Road Safety Audit (GG119)

Elements of the course are updated on an annual basis to reflect the changing requirements and techniques undertaken in all aspects of road safety engineering

Course Leader(s)

All T&RS employees are fully qualified engineers (CEng or IEng) and trainers (Minimum Level 3 in Education and Trainer to qualified University Lecturers/ PG Cert).

Course Accreditation
